The L.A.C. is delighted to welcome one of the most important artists of his generation: Fabrice Hyber, for an exhibition entitled SOL, SOLS (GROUND, GROUNDS).
An exhibition in which every step resonates with the echo of our connection to the earth.
Fabrice Hyber offers an immersive exploration of soil, the often neglected foundation of our world. An exhibition that transcends the boundaries between art and science, inviting visitors to rethink their relationship with the earth beneath their feet.
"The soil is the least known of all living things. We lack the eyes to see it... Extrapolations, inventions, suppositions, extractions in extraordinary soils. Soils are paintings!
But "SOL, SOLS" goes beyond aesthetic contemplation and raises crucial questions about the human impact on soils, confronting viewers with the fragility of these precious ecosystems. Through his works, he reminds us that the earth is much more than just a physical support; it is the foundation of all life on Earth, deserving of respect and protection.
The artist will be presenting 365 works ranging from the 1980s to the present day.
