Laura Henno presents a series of videos and photographs produced between 2016 and 2022 in the Comoros archipelago, summing up nearly ten years of work and immersion in an island territory riven by migration policies and the colonial legacy. Following the path of Patron, a child of the water and an apprentice boatman, the artist encounters Smogi and his singular links with the power of the elements and the spirits that inhabit the forest.
